Aim
This course aims at offering technical skills in new and changing methods used in computer graphic design and interactive media fields. Students acquire theoretical, creative and technical knowledge essential to current commercial practice.

Objectives

• To develop an understanding of computer operating systems.
• To impart technical knowledge in Graphic Art applications such as Photoshop, Indesign, QuarkXpress, CorelDraw etc.
• To create an understanding of the concepts of creating logos, brochures, advertisements and commercial publications using computer applications.
• To exploit various scanning techniques for images, line-work and text recognition.
• To develop an understanding of fundamental typographic rule and design with letterform.
• To implement the fundamental principles of color reproduction.
• To acquire experience with high range technology.
